Features a news section, as well as a mailing list/newsletter feature. The client had lots of great photographs, so the challenge was making a site that even a layman (me) could understand. When we finished, we had something that people enjoy browsing, and I learned a lot along the way. We included a prequalification form to save time for this company.

Hey Uncle Rock! This fabulous singer songwriter has an alter ego. Uncle Rock performs all over the country for big and small kids alike. We developed this complete package featuring animated logos and all sorts of cool stuff. All custom designed by DIS!

This site was designed using lots of Flash combined with a (literally) rockin' logo created from artwork supplied by the young son of the artist (thanks Jack!). Together with some imagination, a calendar script and some wild colors - the legend was born!

This is a beauty! This site has literally HUNDREDS of pages, deep layers of content that will keep anyone interested for hours and hours. Designed to promote this world class resort, the challenge was presenting a LOT of content in a beautiful and interesting way, and in a way worthy of this international treaure. Located in Florida, this resort and wellness community is built around a warm mineral spring that contains more healing minerals than any other Spring in the World!!!!

We used Flash a lot on this site, but in ways that are extremely subtle. From the bubbles that greet you on the home page, to streaming video in the media section (lots of it) there is enough cutting edge technology to make anyone jump for joy. We have news, jobs, articles, links, calendars......you name it! Did I mention interactive maps?

These folks are the DaVinci's of the mouth. The Michealangelos of the molars, the... well you get it. When they needed their site rebuilt in conjunction with a big Extreme Makeover promotion, we came through, creating an inviting site with lots of great interactive flash elements mixed with a search-engine-friendly set of pages that showcase the high end nature of these oral artists.

We included lots of Flash, great pictures, a news section, newsletter/mailing list functionality, and downloadable forms for patients.

This site was the one that put us on the map, as the FIRST of our award winning sites with Netfirms. Chosen as their Site of the Week becuase of the way we integrated a fabulous design with the built-in OSCommerce shopping cart software that comes loaded with Netfirms Business hosting packages, this great site has a lot going on.

Not only is it a full-featured E-Commerce site with a simple administrative control panel for the owner to use to update products, prices, and information, but it looks great too. The challenge was to create a site using open source shopping cart code that looks NOTHING like any other OSCommerce site. I think we succeeded, and so does Netfirms! They told me it was the best customized cart site they had ever seen!

What can you say about a web store. Yes, it does all that! Allows for reviews, an "also-bought" feature, top sellers, inventory control, on sale items, specials, as well as some things we added like, calendar, articles, and more. It has a built-in newsletter and order tracking system, and it ishooked right to the Post Office for dead-on shipping quotes.

Nice. Did we mention it was affordable? We charged the same as any other site.

Elliott Landy's photographs grace album covers of Bob Dylan, Van Morrison, The Band, The Doors, and more. Also known for his photographs of the original 1969 Woodstock Festival, he was looking for a clean look that presented over 500 images for people to view while also offering prints, books, and CD ROMs available for sale through his existing PAYPAL account.

Built on a budget, the site gets hundreds of hits a day, and generated revenue within one week online. We designed the layout, design, all graphics, and custom scripts.

Included third party forum script which we customized for the site, and added a mailing list feature, as well as the ability to promote shows, and sell other products easily. Elliott also wanted us to create sites for his individual artist photographs on his other domain names. We created a template based on this design and created an additional 15 sites that all link back to this one.

The second site we designed for AmeriBag, four years after doing their original site. We included a full featured web store, and designed the site to match their new catalog featuring all new product line. Included literally hundreds of product shots.

Included Flash to highlight their products in a unique way, and lots and lots of interactivity. (new site launch - summer 2004)

Created toshowcase Roberts music, gig schedule, and also to give him a forum for his fans to get more.

Used a variety of tools to help him communicate with his fans. Added third party calendar which we customized, BLOG for him to express himself, and music downloads in both REAL audio and MP3 download format.

Created to compliment the Elliott Landy site above, Design Intervention Studio designed and built separate sites for roughly 15 domain names related to the photographs Elliott took of various musicians, including Bob Dylan, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, The Band and The Doors, pictured here.

Designed to compliment Elliot's main site, these serve as feeders directing people to his main image galleries, and help to increase his standings in the search engines.

Original site supported membership program of over 200,000 users.

Multiple user access levels, account administration, web store with automated transaction processing and accounting, user membership billing, bulk e-mail system, device independent messaging, calendar and scheduling, automated appointment reminders, remote content upload and publishing, SQL based user mini-sites with on-line user edit control interface, database administration system, custom original art, custom interactive user data controls, traffic logging, analysis and reporting, search engine presence technology.

Original site was up for 5 years and has been taken down in favor of the newer design below, along with a new business model. This site will continue to serve a growing national membership base along with a network of registered practitioners.

Design Intervention Studio is currently developing a completely overhauled version of this web site which will feature the Presto Store® Web Cart System from Code Crew, and we provide ongoing support and webmaster services.

Customer wanted a clean corporate look, but also wanted to convey a country, home grown feel. Created informational site to support benefit administrators of companies to assist in managing their employee health benefits and keep current on industry standards.

Worked to incorporate logo into the overall site design and added lots of features to draw clients to the site.

This site was produced on a very low budget, and conveys the feeling of professionalism the client was after. Functionality includes a complete library of online forms that saves the client a lot in mailing costs, and links to all the sites represented by this agency.

We completed the project by designing and printing full color oversized postcards that the client used to promote the site launch.

Very simple site designed as an online brochure, with CGI forms and E-mail support. Auto responders, attractive large image heavy design which the client wanted in order to emulate their current marketing materials.

This is primarily used as a recruitment tool to provide information for prospective practitioners enrolling in the national network.

This benefits company provides a nationwide discount program for benefits including natural health and wellness programs, as well as a network of practitioners.

Added to that is an online office management program, and a suite of products geared toward physicians. We developed a portal that will showcase the many aspects of the company while directing the various visitors to the site to the appropriate login area.

Created a site to promote practice management tools for physicians.

Simple forms, and a link to an online demo provide just the right look for this site geared toward medical professionals. Simple inexpensive site.

This site is the main site that supports hundreds of thousands of members nationwide. Once logged in, it provides access to a wide range of online benefits including vitamin discounts, practitioner lookup, spa finder and reviews, online recipes and other health tips.

A members only program, Design Intervention Studio developed the site, all the graphics and images, the logo, and setup the benefit access pages.

We also serve as webmaster for ongoing benefit updates and maintenance to the site, icluding producing an entirely new design, seen here.

Each type of construction service has its own showcase area complete with a user operated slide show of past project photos produced in Flash in order to minimize the file size while giving the best image quality, and an interesting look. Also built on a tight budget, in a short time frame.

Beautiful site to showcase a unique charter boat in the Caribbean.

Site features interactive sailing region map, as well as an interactive map of the ship itself. The entire site was done with simple java script and has sparked lots of interest from other charter boats seeking the same kind of site.

Although there were a number of options in building the interactive features, we chose simple image swapping due to time constraints from the client in getting the site done, as well as a limited budget. Light - airy - elegant! The entire site was built in about 2 weeks. We also serve as webmasters for ongoing upkeep.

Designed solely to provide information to the community on a proposed $200 million development project in the Catskill region of New York State.

Although this band site is no longer up, it was a particular favorite in that we incorporated some great graphics including custom gibson guitar navigation system and Hohner harmonica site banners.

We also included online CD purchasing and links to Poll star schedule info on the bands touring information.
